Type 2 diabetes
My husband was just told he has type 2 diabetes. We were wondering if anyone has some great healthy recipes,low carb ,low sugar stuff. Thanks in advance

As far as desserts, I have a book called "Without the Sugar" - anything I have made from that book my dad has loved.
I have also made a low sugar ice-cream cake with sugar free oreos as the crunchies in the middle and top, and no-sugar added Edy's cookies and cream ice cream.

lots of grilled meats and steamed veggies ... stay away from sauces and marinades. Eat good carbs (complex, multi grain, etc .... stay away from white/processed flour & sugar)
If he is still hungry, add more vegetables.
When I had GD, I had a formula diet that worked wonders for me to eat right ...

He was just diagnosed and is so hungry. so I will take your advice and add more veggies. Thanks for all the info. I had no idea they made sugar free oreos yummo!!
