Uggghhh...DS got stung by a bee at the park
We had a playdate today at the park. DS was standing by the bike rack and I turned around and saw him screaming. There was a swarm of bee's around him. I didnt think he got stung b/c he stopped crying after a couple minutes and continued playing for another 45 min. There was no mark either. We just got home and I was washing his hands and noticed his thumb and palm on one hand are bright red and swollen. I called the ped and am waiting to hear back from him. What else should I do?

I do have the benadryl but being he is not having any other reactions other than the little swelling and redness where he got stung I didn't know if I should give it to him or not.

I'm assuming you dont see a stinger in his skin, if he isnt complaining, then dont do anything. maybe a little ice to bring the swelling down,

OMG....he DID get stung! He is such a trooper...he really didn't cry too much! Poor TJ!
