Did you try putting some soft toys in her crib and doing the drop and run?

I am right there with you!!! Jack will practically beat me up before every naptime. He has just recently gotten SLIGHTLY better.
I don't really have any advice for you either bc what works somedays - won't work the next.
I'm hoping he will start to grow out of this soon!
It is so frustrating though when you know they are so tired and just can't get relaxed.

My Lainie is the same way....she is exhausted and her eyes are rolling from side to side but still she won't take a nap and holds out until the very last second. Then she only takes a 30 minute nap. I have been consistant with putting her down at the same time everyday though.

She has stuffed animals in the crib with her she just never falls asleep. She finally went down, she fell asleep with the bottle. Bad habit, i tell ya!!!

I'm on the computer listening to her talk to herself instead of napping. Its driving me nuts! she will be total crankpot if she doesn't get a nap in.
She naps at her day care no problem

same here I put him in there to let him know I mean business once he's done playing, I will nurse and he will go to sleep.
this is all new, just started about 2 weeks ago. before that only naps were taken in my arms

same here!! This is my biggest struggle (lately) I'm reading a new sleep book. I hope it helps soon!! DD only naps in her highchair or the carseat or on walks in the stroller.  I've spent hours in the reading catalogs & magazines. Now I'm reading the sleep book in the car. I'm determined to win this battle.
I hope your battles get better too.

DS does the same thing. keeps himself awake. I keep trying to put him down for naps but it is driving me crazy as to how long it takes. I ope it gets better.
