UGGS- Leather boots

Does anyone have leather boots from UGGS. I have a pair with a wedge heel that I bought from zappos January 2012. I only wore them a few times and then took them out this past november and when I walked on some wet grass my feet got wet. Called Zappos and their excellent customer service person told me to return them and they would send a new pair which they did and the same thing happened last week - wet socks and feet after stepping across some wet grass - I am not talking about puddles here.

So my dilemma is that I LOVE these boots but hate that I spent some $$$ on them and they let water in. DH thinks I should have weather proofed them with some spray.

Anyone else have this issue with these boots or some other leather boots?

I have never had that problem with other leather boots. I don't own any UGGS leather boots though.
