UGH - OB SUCKS
I posted last night about having weird spotting and cramping while TTC...
Spotting stopped today so it is obviously not my period! What the heck is this?
Thought i would call OB and talk to the dr or nurse to see if they could give me any advice... I don't think I would get an accurate response on any preg test at the moment since my AF is not due for like 15 days...
OB is out b/c it's Monday and he isn't there on Monday during the summer (nice life!) and nurse isn't there b/c she doesn't work Monday either - how nice! I am so beyond frustrated with this dr for so many reasons! I want to switch OB's and will prob go to Great Neck OB/GYN but when i spoke to them last week they said to wait to make an appt until i have a missed period since I already had my annual. I don't really need to see the dr at this very moment, but it would have been nice to get some reassurance from a medical prof...ugh!!
According to Fert Friend i ovulated Friday or Saturday - maybe that was totally out of whack and I ovulated earlier and this is implantation bleeding???

Let me tell you - I COMPLETELY understand your frustration with the OB. I had many many frustrations with mine as well.

You should try calling your insurance company and see if they provide advice on immediate problems...I know with my moms insurance co, we were able to speak with a nurse "on call" immediately with any question...and I would totally go to another OB btw...they should be on call for you 24/7..what happens if you NEED to see them on a MON...then you have to go to the ER...thats why at this stage, I prefer group...and yes that could be implantation bleeding!! Some people spot around ovulation. If you only ovulated a few days ago, it probably isn't implantation bleeding. Implantation can take at least 6 days. If your period isn't due for 15 days, a pregnancy test would not detect anything at this point.
Is there only 1 doctor in your practice? I'd definitely consider switching to a place that has several doctors.
