Ugh - she puked in the carseat...
I was picking my mom up from the airport and at some point she puked. I didn't even know When we got to my mom, she opened the back door to say hi to DD and she was like - eww...she puked. All over the car seat. What a PITA. And what a pain that the cover can't be put in the washing machine...hand wash only I just spent a fun 40 minutes spot cleaning it....

How strange! Lily threw up in her car seat today also!! Only, I got to watch it happen...mmmmm!
Hope she's feeling better!! I make my husband wash the car seat cover . So I think it's super easy to do!

Awwwww! I hope she feel better!! DS did this in January and it was totally gross!! I had to take the whole car to be detailed because I couldn't get the smell out of the carpet on the floor!! Also it took me forever to get every crevice of the car seat washed! Yuck!

Ah, been there too unfortunately. Although in my case, DD puked up goldfish and then proceeded to try and eat the parts that came up

Sorry, that sucks We've machine washed the car seat cover on the delicate cycle. The main thing is do not put it in the dryer because it will shrink slightly and become sooooo hard to put back on.

Re: Ugh - she puked in the carseat...
My DD has done that a couple times - food/drink + car ride is not a good combo for her.
I put my cover on delicates in the washer and it turned out fine. The worst was trying to get the puke out of all the crevices in the seat frame.
Hope it's a one-time thing!!
ETA: Just noticed another poster said don't put the cover in the dryer - I second that. I let mine hang-dry both times.

I'm sorry I just bc that's so something my DS would do too.
Make sure you get in every single crack and crevice in that car seat. DS used to do this a lot and the first time we thought we got it all until the car started reaking a week later
