ugh. Another salon I'll never go back to...Bocu
I just needed a trim/cleanup, so I made an appt for last night. I won a GC from a radio station last year and it was due to expire 11/30/08, so I made the appt at Bocu.
I had a 6pm appt - I arrived at 5:50 and stood at the desk for a solid 60 seconds while the woman at the desk finished her text message...when she finally acknowledged me, she sent me to get washed.
I waited almost 10 minutes on the "washing couch" before someone acknowledged me. It was about 6:05 at this point. The girl washed my hair in 45 seconds (and scratched my face with her fake nail  ). She reeeeeeked of cigarettes. After my 45 second wash, I was sent back to the washing couch to wait for my stylist. I sat there for 35 MINUTES with wet hair. I went up to the desk to see if someone else was free (there were 3 other girls just sitting there talking/texting). She HUFFED at me, then told me NOPE.
At 6:45 I was finally taken to the stylist's chair. She cut my hair in 5 minutes, dried it in 3 (it was still wet underneath when I got home) and said THANKS FOR COMING FOR THE BOCU EXPERIENCE.
um, no thanks. never again. k thanks, bye!!!
The trim is FINE - but I would've been pretty pizzed if I had actually paid the $50 out of my pocket.

ew! that is a terrible way to be treated at a salon. have they never heard of word-of-mouth? 
one question - did they know you were using the GC before you got there? i just wonder if that was part of the reason you were neglected there... it wouldn't make it right, obviously, i am just curious.

my hair is long and holds lots of water...it always has! if I don't dry it before going to bed, it's still wet in the morning!
