Ugh, baby blues have officially started
I was hoping I wouldn't experience this the second time around, it was pretty bad with DS but DD is 8 days old today and today is the first time I have felt depressed. Not one particular reason. Just sad and lonely even though I have people around me. Hoping it passes soon. Hate this feeling because it is so irrational. My baby girl is amazing and I'm so happy she is here. Sorry, just needed to vent

 I'm sorry, hang in there. I remember the baby blues, they can be pretty bad. Just remember that you you'll start to feel better slowly and once you do, each day will be better. I knew the baby blues were subsiding once i noticed I was crying less and less every day, then one day I didn't cry at all and I knew that the worst was over.

i completely know how you feel. i was a mess after my first and was terrified of feeling that way after baby #2 came along. unfortunately i had them again but luckily not half as bad as the first time and not as long either. BUT they were there and i remember KNOWING everything was ok...but also feeling that sad lonely feeling as well.
For me the thing that brought me out of it was a little time, insisting on DH's help overnight, and in time going out for a run/walk on my own.
hang in there!! it will be ok!!

I soooo know how you are feeling
I had mine pretty bad and crying for know reason. It happens and there is no control but it will pass soon. I really recommend going out because staying home all day is not going to help.
