UGH! BFing past and present moms! does/did your baby do this!?
During the last feeding before putting him to bed DS goes crazy at the breast-don't know how else to explain it. he goes nuts! head-butting it, fussing, getting squirmy, latching, unlatching, you name it.
it is SO frustrating for me! is he doing this b.c he's tired and getting out his "stress"? it is ONLY for this feeding.
anyone else have this happen?

I remember DD doing that, but not at any particular time. I think sometimes she would do it if there was nothing left or before let-down.

DS ALWAYS DOES this...
I believe its because hes OVERTIRED...
If I beat him to the point of HUNGER and tiredness...he nurses FINE before bed...
If not- sometimes I just pump and give a bottle.... (although sometimes that doesnt even help!)

Also- he sometimes does this during the day if he has gone longer than usual for a feeding and I have TOO much milk...making me let down more forceful...
ETA- I put on a shield when that happens..

DD did that when she realized it meant she was then going to be put down to go to sleep. She eventually got over it, but for a while it was a PITA!

He used to do this between 3-6 weeks during a feeding where he was just OVERTIRED. It was so hard to BF him and I would get upset. I learned his sleeping patterns better & he naps more frequently now and I have not seen that in awhile!
