Ugh ... heartburn
I had very bad LPR ( Laryngopharyngeal Reflux )for years a few years ago and was totally hoping I would not have any heartburn issues with the pregnancy but the last two weeks, I've had a few bad days 
I really hope it does not continue!!! (Nothing ever worked for me except a Rx I won't be able to take!  )

Tell me about it...I can't eat after 7pm and have had to sleep on the couch the last few nights so my head was raised...

maalox!!!!! it works so good!!!! when i was in the hospital i felt like i had swallowed acid could lay down it was terrible..but the maalox did the trick!

girls - the Tums Smoothies worked sooooooooooo well for me - and i was taking nexxium twice a day until my BFP.
now - i'm on zantac twice a day.

Nothing has ever worked for me except the Protonix I was on ... my heartburn was so bad from the LPR, they did stress tests and other stuff because I told them I felt like I was having a heart attack

Its been killing me the last few days too. Yesterday, i think i slept 2 hours total b/c it was so painful it kept waking me up. NOTHING was working at that point. I just picked up apple cider vinegar- i'm desperate enough to try anything at this point
