ugh I am so mad ......who do I call???Updated
This woman at my kids bus stop always brings her dog and the other day their was dog poop on the grass and my DD almost stepped in it and I knew it was from this womans dog......but I didnt see the dog poop so I didnt say anything
WELL TODAY she let her dog poop right their with me watching and she didnt even clean it
I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW
who can I call to report this.........If one of my kids step in poop before school I would be ******!!!!!!!
how would she feel if I let my baby (after she is born) crap right on her lawn or put a diaper right on her grass...........its so gross
UPDATE******when I went back to the bus stop at 345 to pick the girls up she was there with her dog and I told her that she needs to bring a plastic bag and clean up her dogs poop because the little boy stepped in it yesterday and that our children walk on the grass at the stop....I told her its a law and she needs to clean it up

That is totally irresponsible and disgusting. I would confront the woman first. I am not sure who you can call to report it.

I don't think I would call anyone, not sure there is anyone to call. but I would probably say something if it happened again.
I would say:
"did you forget your poop scoop at home"

My Dad had a similar situation a few years ago. He lived in New Jersey in one of those townhouse developments. Well, he had an end unit and a big beautiful lawn!! Well this woman used to walk her huskies on his lawn and leave the little "packages" on his lawn. My father spoke to her about it, to no avail.
The next time she did it, he fashioned a big sign and stuck it in the ground, right next to a steaming heap that said:
"THANKS FOR THE DOG SH!T!"

You should definitely talk to the woman. That is SO wrong. I hate people that don't curb their dogs

Can you call the town? If anything, they can screw her for not having a license for the dog, if she doesn't. I'm pretty sure if your dog craps, the town requires you to clean it up, though.
ETA: Just talked to DH. Call the town and make a complaint. You're definitely not allowed to have your dog crap anywhere.

When we moved to our house there were little piles on the lawn between the sidewalk and the street. Everytim DH and I were home and saw people walking their dogs we said something to everyone... Some people were horrified that we said something (they always cleaned up) and appologized for the bad dog walkers...
It is amazing that some of these people want pets, but don't want to take care of them.... I hate people like that

uggg, I feel your pain. MY neighbors have an AKita that just hangs out on their front lawn,. no leash or anything. He sometimes comes to my lawn and poops on it. If he does it again, I am gonna give them a piece of my mind

Before reporting it (and I don't even know who you'd call) I would try to talk about it with the woman.
Just explain to her that you have children and don't want them stepping in it since they are active and don't really look out for poop when the yare running around....
And can she please just kindly offer the curtosy of cleaning up anything that her dog leaves behind in the future.
If you ask nicely and she gets all pissy about it then I'd take it to the next level, but give her the chance at least to do the right thing first.
