Ugh I don't know how much longer...
So after my crazy appointment on Tuesday where my OB freaked out because I was 60% effaced and 4cms dilated and sent me to L&D, I am still holding on at home. I am trying to stay off my feet as much as possible to give this baby as much time to cook as possible and am so happy that I am officially 38 weeks now so if I go then that's fine. Funny enough my OBs front office pushed back my C section to the 20th (which is what I originally requested and was instead scheduled the 15th). I have been feeling cramps on and off and think I am slowly losing my mucous plug, so I doubt I will make it to my OB appointment on Monday but I am so anxious and worried. I am constantly checking to make sure I'm not leaking fluid and making sure the baby is moving and I feel so freaking uncomfortable I can barely walk! I keep worrying that once I go into labor I will barely make it to the hospital- plus I am suppose to have a C section! Sorry I just needed to vent. My first pregnancy was nothing like this. And to make things worse, I have this crazy hacking cough that I literally got when I was in the hospital on Tuesday....great.

hang in there! Is there anyway you can have your OB schedule for the 13th instead of the 20th or does your OB now no longer feel like you will go early and it is not medically necessary to go before 39 weeks?

I don't know. I am going to see if I can get scheduled on the original date of the 15th (when I turn 39 weeks), although to be honest I doubt I will make it.  My DH is so stressed out because he works in the city, would have to drive over to come get me in Queens and then we would need to drive back to the city. I  that I don't go into labor during rush hour. I think that is what is stressing me out the most, LOL.
