Ugh- I hate missing work!!
I have to go for a repeat sono tomorrow at noon because the one we had last week was VERY early and the heartbeat was just a little sluggish so they want to see that it's picked up..
Now this will be the 3rd day in 2 weeks that I'm going to be late or out totally. I HATE going to my boss daily asking to take a day off here or come in late there.. I told her I'm pregnant but I can still hear her sigh before I'm even done saying "I need to come in late tomorrow".. It's just really annoying..
Sorry for the vent..

I hated this too, and in the beginning, there are a LOT of appointments, or there were for me. It does taper down a bit though until the end.
Agreed though, your boss should understand.

This is the whole reason I told my office I was pregnant. I had a dr's appt and they wanted me to come back the following week to see if they could see the heartbeat. My coworkers were concerned that I was going to be late for another dr's appt because I'm never sick so I ended up telling them. The appts did taper off though and I'm able to make all my dr appts and sono appts at night so I don't have to miss any work. They should understand.

I'm sorry, but this made me LOL
Maybe I am bitter b/c I wasn't allowed to take any time for anything pregnancy related and then I was fired when I was 38 weeks, but not a lot of bosses are going to be super excited about doctor's appointments.
That being said, she will have to deal with it. I went to 7pm doctor's appointments, but I had to have my sonos at 8:30am and I would be late b/c of those.

I didn't mean that she had to be excited about it...I just feel like at this point in my life, my first worry isn't work! I have a different perspective because I am my own boss...but if my clients don't like it...I don't care!
