Ugh why is perfume so expensive??
I rarely buy perfume. Last time I ordered the only one I wear and accidentally ordered the huge bottle so I haven't had to buy perfume in a long time.
I got a sample in my last Ulta flyer that came to my house and I absolutely LOVED this one scent by Derek Lam. OMG it was amazing- so light and fresh.
I saved the sample paper and figuerd I'd ask for it for Christmas but I finally just went online to look at it and the regular sized bottle is $85!!
I can't justify spending that on a perfume. $50 or $60 maybe. Not $85.
Ughh so frustrating.

I know!
ULTA opened a new store on E.86th st here in the city and they were giving out 20% off coupons for anything in the store. Including perfume! So I finally picked myself a bottle of Chanel Mademoiselle that I wanted for so long. Otherwise I never would've bought it.

I know sometimes they do the 20% off no exclusions- even on the prestige cosmetics so when I get those I go wild and stock up on all my prestige stuff.
But I was never in the market for perfume so I never looked to see if those included fragrance.
Next time I get one I am going to look.
It's ridiculous.

Ugh why is perfume so expensive??
I am obsessed with this perfume by Tom Ford - its 200 for the small bottle!!!!
I just spray myself with it everytime I am in Nordstroms. I can't even imagine spending that much.

I have never bought from a site like Perfumania, but maybe you could get it there? Or, what I usually do is wait until there is at least 6%-8% back on Ebates from Macy's or Sephora or someplace like that that carries my perfume. I would think with the holidays coming up, the Ebates % will increase soon - it's not a huge discount, but at least it's something

Exactly! Usually I start off with the roller ball size of something until a sale or coupon pops up! Work my way up to a bigger one if i really like it..lol.

OMG I wonder if it is the same Tom Ford one I am obsessed with! I couldn't believe it was so much. I searched online to see if they had a travel size of it and no luck. Is it a blue bottle? Too funny, as I never find perfume I like but this one I love and cannot see spending that kind of money on it. And like you, when I am in the store, I spray myself with it and enjoy it for the day.

Sephora also has sample
Boxes of like10 perfumes for 50-60$? And each box comes with a certificate to redeem for a free full size bottle of any of the perfumes featured in the box.

I wear Chloe and a bottle is about $100
I get the sample box at Sephora and then bring in the voucher for the full size, most times they let you upgrade the bottle size and pay the difference
I get it for my husband in the colognes box
He loves it too because he doesn’t have a signature scent so each box he picks out a new cologne
