UGH...9 months old an 103.3 fever!
DD has a pretty high fever! Se is acting fine...not wanting to eat too much dinner though. I called the ped and h said just to give her some tylenol/motrin and see if that brings the fever down. And if it's not down by morning, to bring her in. Who else has experience with this?

My kids both had really high fevers for one day. I think 103.9 and 104.3? They did come down with Motrin and the next day were around 101. Dr told me not to worry until 105-then go to the hospital

Same here. DS had 103.8 and I called I they said there's nothing that they can do (above me alternating Tylenol and Motrin) unless it reaches 105. Just keep doing that. I hope it goes down!

Gave her tylenol and within 1 hr fever came down to 98.9! Now she is asleep for the night - I am going to keep checking her to see if she feels hot again - but hopefully the worst is over!

I've dealt with it more times than I can remember. Keep pushing fluids! As much as she'll drink.

oh yes.....fluids, fluids, fluids. If she is acting fine then that is a great sign. My ped keeps telling me (when I call up freaking out about a 104 temp) that fevers are the body's way of fighting infection...it's actually a good thing (for whatever that's worth)
