Ugh...another test...
I've been having sotmach issues for months and first they thought it was IBS and not they think it's my gallbladder. Anyone have gallbladder issues?? They want me to get some test where they give me an IV with steroids and see how my gallbladder functions. Anyone had this?

I did this test. It was very long and they will tell you that whatever is in the iv doesn't affect you, but it made me feel like crap the rest of the day.
Good luck!

Re: Ugh...another test...
I would rather have gall bladder issue sthan IBS anyway...IBS is permanenet. They can take your gallbladder out and you would be fine

ITA with this. you just have to be strict with your diet. and you may not even need to have it out - my grandmother had gall bladder issues for years which she controlled with her diet, and she only had to have it out two years ago (due to complications from her lupus).

The doctor said it might give me milkd abdominal pain whenthe steroids go in. But good to know...I'll take the whole day off work just in case. How long did the procedure (and the pain) last?

I know, it's definitely better than IBS. But I wanna eat chocolate and penne a la vodka!! I think I'd rather have it out...haha.
