ughhh
so i found out today that I am now 100% effaced and the baby is at 0 station and ready to go! I have been having contractions on and off all weekend, and today they finally started to get stronger and have a pattern. After almost 2-3 hours of this, they just stopped out of nowhere. My dr said he doesn't think I'll make next Tuesday's appt, and intends on seeing me at the hospital by the weekend. I feel like he's getting me hyped up for something that might not happen...I am so disappointed :(

Yeah. It happens. Babies (and children) run on their own schedule. You'll see you have very little control of them, and thus your own life, for the foreseeable future. My advice is go with it and try to enjoy the journey.

Yup, three times my doctor said I wouldn't make it to the next appointment. The last one she was the on-call doctor at the hospital for the weekend and she was so sure she'd be seeing me in L&D that weekend. But nope. I was so cranky... all the time. I wanted to be DONE. Then I started having appointments everyday because I was over 40 weeks and had borderline low fluid and every time I went in I thought "This is it!" and then she'd send me home and said I'll see you again tomorrow.  She was worth the wait though! Hang in there and try not to be TOO disappointed if she's a no-show this weekend. You're allowed to wallow a bit though, have some ice cream, it helps I promise.

You poor thing. There's nothing worse than thinking baby is coming and then they don't. I had that happen to me with my first. I know it's hard especially with it being brutally hot the next few days but try to relax and pamper yourself a bit. We're almost there!

i just feel so crappy- my back kills and my cramps get alot worse when I walk around the house. It's got to be soon...
