Ughhhh, why won't they just take a nap when they are tired and stop fighting it?!
Erin is utterly exhausted.. and fighting to the bitter end to not take a nap! She is so clingy right now, crying and whiny, her eyes are red rimmed, and she keeps throwing her head on my shoulder. Just go to sleep baby girl, who are you trying to impress?

I can relate, over the last 2 days especially. DD is giving my sister, who's from OOT and staying with us, the runaround all day long.
What I would do to be able to take the naps she passes up

DD does this all the time!! I feel like she's afraid she's going to miss something....she LOVES to be the center of attention

That was DD yesterday. DH and I were going crazy to get her to sleep. I'm exhausted today.

oh I hear ya - Jack is yelling and rocking back and forth in his crib - won't give in - and he's absolutely exhausted.
I just don't get it!

DS has been doing this a lot lately. The only time he naps is if he's in the stroller or car. Which I wouldn't mind if he was okay, but he was hysterical for the last hour.
It kills me, because I would LOVE to nap, but can't. I keep telling him take advantage of this time, never again will he be able to nap whenever he wants, but he's not getting it.
