Ughhhhh!! No progress....
Ok, just got back from the doctors office for my weekly exam & internal. My appointment was for 8:15 so they did the sono and NST. The sono looked good. He said she looks to be about 8.5 pounds.
Then it sucked because the nurse came in and said "oh, we screwed up, the doc doesn't come in until 9:30" - so I had to sit there for almost an hour until the doc got in 
The doc finally came and the internal went okay - still a fingertip dialated.
Anyway, I have to go back Monday morning for another exam. I left the office in tears because I am so DONE with being preggo. I feel so guilty to say that, but my hormones are getting the best of me. I keep crying at the drop of a dime. I was keeping my fingers crossed to be induced this week so my family could be here (but that's not happening).
I need prayers that I go within the next few days. It's still early, but she is good and ready to go!!!!!!!!!

 Honest truth...I am still high, baby has no intention of coming out and the dr said that even with me being 1.5 cm dialated he thinks when the baby comes its just going to dialate fast. My point...forget the fingertip dialation nonsense. Every week I go in and they tell me "Oh another .5 inch c'mon now!
Its all a joke. I think you can go any time...its up to the baby. I am so praying for you ((((Labor Vibes))))

Do you feel "done" too?
My family from GA is visiting with my folks in PA and they were all going to trek up if something happens. I love my family to pieces, so I really wanted them to be here when I do give birth.

Katie, I totally agree with Paulette here. My doctor says it really doesn't matter how dialated or effaced you are, when baby is ready, baby will come. Some walk around 3 cm for weeks! Others go into labor after being told they aren't dialated at all!
I'm thankfully pretty comfortable (as comfortable as you can be the size of a moose) but I'm ready to meet her already and take back my body! I prayed and prayed she'd come this past weekend but she didn't listen. Stubborn like her mommy!! Now I just want to make it through Thanksgiving dinner since i'm cooking - I bet I go into labor just as I'm about to stuff my face!!!

oh, Katie I'm so sorry. I thought too this was the week but hey Leah's smart, she wants you to enjoy your last Thanksgiving without a high chair around. And she's also is smart because she's not coming until her room is 100% ready to go. She's a true girl!!
She'll come soon, I know it!!

Hang in there! You still have some time to go, try not to get too frustrated, because if you end up going past your due date, you are going to be even more upset. I know how you feel, I was 8 days late.

Yup, I had no signs down south of being ready [other than some other symptoms but those didn't even occur until the day i went into labor] and my first was a week early. She moved real weird and painfully [for me] and that was it.

I know how you feel!  was 8 days overdue and I was fingertip for 3 weeks, then I jumped to 2cm in one week.

With my daughter, Dr. told me absolutely nothing was going on, on Monday afternoon. He said see you next week and I too cried. Well thursday morning she came. He was wrong and I was happy.So there is hope!!!!!!!!!!!!
