So I took DS to the ped this AM for a rash that appeared on both feet---I was concerned it was coxsackie. No fever, no sores in mouth...but ped thinks it could still be coxsackie and she thought he might get a fever soon.
Now, here is my problem, we are having our house painted this week. While it is not required to evacuate, they are sealing the windows and doing a lot of sanding outside, we live in an older home, so there is always a chance of old lead paint. They said ideally I would have the kids out when they are sanding, but again, not required. I had planned a few outings/playdates to keep the kids out of the house. I am obviously canceling the playdates, but I still need to get them out of the house. The closest family I have is 2 hours away and they work during the week. Would it be wrong to take him to the mall or zoo knowing he might have coxsackie? He would stay in the stroller. I just don't know what to do!!!!
