ultrasceen results
so, yesterday my dr's office told me it would take an extra week for my ultrascreen results 
I think they told me that so I wouldn't call them every hour. They called me this morning with the results.... everything is normal 
this news makes this 36 year old preggo very very happy 
So, DH and I finally feel comfortable telling our friends and extended family that we're expecting... it's such a relief to be in the open!
I'd also like to finally come out to all of you.... I feel like I'm way overdue.  I am really marriedinportjeff (aka portjeffbride on on the '07 board of LIW). I originally wanted to begin posting with that name.... but frankly, I LIKE being wannabemom 
Since I feel like the most uncertain times are over, I'd also like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me through all of this  you girls are the best!

thanks everyone 
I'm so relieved... it's wierd though.... here I am, a neuropharmacologist.... I thrive on statistics, yet I never called them back to find out my probabilities. I think I just want to keep it at 'normal'.
DH and I are celebrating with Crumb's favorite.... chocolate icecream from carvel.
I bought a giant pile of flying saucers

well, every since fudgy the whale, I've been all about carvel...
think of it this way.... it has calcium
(and so do vanilla shakes  )
