Ultrasound at 5 weeks and 2 days.... UPDATE
Do you think I will be able to see anything? I am going to the RE tomorrow for my first ultrasound. I am excited but also know that it might be too early!
UPDATE: We saw the heartbeat. There was one perfect sac, yolk, etc. The heartbeat was faint but there. He said the baby is measuring ahead and wants me back next Monday. I am in shock. Kind of stunned. I think I am experiencing disbelief!!! Definitely one baby is in there! He said everything looks perfect!

i would say maybe a sac (or two) - with Ds i went at 5 weeks and 5 days, and i saw a sac and a tiny speck, and mayyyyybe a flicker of a heartbeat.

I don't know, but I just wanted to say good luck! I'm going to my RE Friday for my first ultrasound. I will be 1 day shy of 6 wks. I'm trying to prepare myself just to see a sac and if I see more I will be pleasantly surprised.

I think that was around the time of my first sono and it looked like a grain of rice, no heartbeat yet, but I went back in two weeks and you wouldn't believe how much they grow!

We went in our 5th week also & saw the 2 sacs. You could not see anything else though.
