I've had charts that look like that. Sometimes it happens. Just keep charting.

You have a lot of open circles - are you temping at the same time everyday? That would def. explain the erratic temps.

Give yourself an hour before and an hour after your "set" time to take your temps. But Always use the same time everyday in FF, the open circles are def going to mess with the overall data.

Other than that, you're chart looks pretty normal to me for Pre-O temps.

The mean time is 5:20-5:40am but there are some within an hour on either side. The problem is that I just wake up between 4:30 and 6:30am for a second and go back to sleep until I need to wake up (~7am). Because I won't get another 3 hours uninterrupted sleep after I do this quick wake up, I take my temp there.

Do you guys have any recommendations as to a better way? I'd really appreciate any help!

That is exactly how I do it. If I wake, I take the temp. I have found that overall the temps will clearly show ovulation even when the times are off b/c of sleep disruption.

If you don't get out of bed when you wake and you fall right back to sleep and you are only up for a second, I am pretty sure you will be okay if you take your temp at 7am.

Give yourself and hour before and an hour after, but don't adjust the time in FF.

Don't mess with the time in FF keep it the same time everyday. Instead of changing the time, just make notes in the comment/notes section where you enter your temp in FF that you woke up for 2 seconds at 5am..etc.
