um, how do you figure out what size nursing bra you will need?

I am trying to get a list together to make a hospital bag....but the bra is throwing me...how do I know what size I will be?????

I am busting out of current size, but only have a few more weeks to go. I plan to nurse, so I'll need a nursing bra. what do I do?

I waited till my milk came in. I went braless in the hospital I then used a sportbra till the bras came int he mail.

I went up a cup size during pregnancy. I went into a maternity store at about 36 weeks. The saleswoman recommended going up 1 more cup size than I was. I tried a few bras on that were a cup size bigger. I had some room, but not a lot of room. They fit well when my milk came in. I had also bought a bunch of nursing tanks from Target, which I love.

I am 35 weeks and have an appointment at a maternity bra store. For DS I went up one band size and 3 cup sizes. After nursing I stayed up the band size and went down 4 cup sizes.

i did not come anywhere close to fitting in nursing bras that i had purchased.

i lived in motherhood maternity's stretchy bras...no underwire.

my left boob was the size of my head. underwire only caused infections for me.

i rarely used nursing bras, just picked up bra over my boob

I had bought two while I was pregnant (went up one cup size) and they still fit now. When my milk came in they did seem fuller but the bras still fit fine.

Stacy, I cannot go bra free. it's not in me. I am terrified of gravity.

maybe I'll pack a bra and a nursing tank/bra thingie. I think I saw those.

I would wear nursing tanks in the hospital and then worry about bras after you get home. You'll be much more comfortable.

I waited two-three weeks before due date. and then just went up a size. Worked both times.

I got sized a few weeks before my due date. I wore them through the end of my pregnancy and while nursing.

i had a cami with the built in bra area, this bra area sux, but at that point i had the nursing pads in anyway for the leaking.

honestly you will have to wait for your milk to come in, and even then you may need some in one size and some in another. The first 4 months DD was eating every 2-3 hours so I went up 2 sizes, now at 8 months she eats every 4-5 hours so im not as big.

I used the maternity camis with built in shelf bras. Once my milk came in, I went to a store up here, the Upper Breast Side and was measured for a nursing bra.
