umbilical cord question
DS is 12 days old. Yesterday and today I noticed some bleeding from the umbilical cord. Is this normal? Should I call his dr. His stump has not fallen off yet and does not look like it is going to fall off. TIA!
ETA: forget it - I read the related topics at the bottom. I will keep an eye on it and then if I have to contact the ped, I will! Thanks anyways!

My dds bleed, it fell off in pieces. I was told must to make sure the bleeding doesnt continue.. if it does call peds and they will just cortrize it. I ended up having to have that done.

DS bled a little. I would notice a little blood on his onesies. The cord fell off after about 2 days of noticing the little spots of blood
