Ummm....am I starting labor? You decide! (non-update)
I'm having what feels like Braxton Hicks approximately 8 minutes apart. They are not painful- but coming pretty regularly- even after drinking water and putting my feet up.
I lost some of my mucus plug a few hours ago.
I didn't go onto labor with Madelyn as I was a schduled induction- so I have no idea what early labor feels like.
My non-update:NOPE! I'm still having contractions, but they are totally erratic. I'm at work now, but I only live 3 minutes away so if anything "happens" I can get home immediately. I do have alot of lower pressure.
I'll be walking up and down stairs like a crazy woman today.

I lost my mucous plug and BAM my water broke 4 hrs later. I'd wait a few more hrs and then call. Good Luck!

It sounds like it. For me, I lost my mucus plug earliar in the day and then started having what felt like menstrual cramps about 8-10 minutes apart. It wasn't until about 6 hours later that they became closer

Also- this kid is usually moving like CRAZY when I sit with my feet up. I've noticed I haven't felt her move in at awhile (about 20-30 min). Should I be concerned or is this normal?
ETA: She just shifted-whew....

Amy, this is what happened with my mom with my sister (also a Caroline, so you know they are troublemakers ) and she got to the hospital and she was born 26 minutes later and in the bag of waters!

this is exactly what I went through... it started at 6pm, lost plug at 10pm, and the contractions were 5 min apart for an hour by 1am!
so I'm going to wish you <<<<EASY LABOR VIBES>>>>
I hope it's the real thing!

I dont know. My labor came on strong. Menstrual cramps every 7 min's and leaking water and some bleeding.
 for an easy delivery if this is your "last post". LOL

I have been having contractions on and off too....but I go to sleep, and tell myself if its really labor, I will be woken up by it. But I havent lost my plug (I didn't with my son either). Hopefully this is it for you!!!

I never had Braxton Hicks contractions so i dont know what they feel like, but my real contractions were painful. They didnt start out that bad but definitely felt like bad menstrual cramps. Mine started out 8 minutes apart.

I have no idea.. still to this day i have no clue when i lost my plug or when my water broke with dd..

Def. walk the stairs, and do squats during your prep
I was doing squats last night, and my husband thought I was insane...oh well, hes not the one with the baby in him. He told me to wait till tonight to do it, because then hes home, and won't have to rush home from work---its like he thought in one squat the baby would come flying out!!!
