underwear question
My son and I both have allergies to elastics. We can't wear any clothing that has elastic touching the skin. I have been able to figure out where to get underwear for myself and PJs for both of us (buying bras is not easiy either). A lot of little boys' underwear has no elastic around the leg but the waistband has elastic exposed. He is fine if it has elastic but it would have to be covered or he gets huge welts. I am asking on this board where to get underwear because a lot of kids who have sensory issues have to wear the same type that he needs, plus a lot of allergy moms read this board. He doesn't need seamless but if that is what works that is fine. Hannah Andersson has what he needs but their underwear is very high waisted & he pulls them up so high. Do you know where I can buy boys' underwear with no elastic touching the kid, not even at the waist? My mom and I have been looking everywhere. Hanes and Jockey both have products that are good for me but their little boys' styles all seem to have the elastic exposed. I would need 100% cotton. DS is 5 years old.

My son had some, and I wish I could remember where we bought them. If it comes to me, I'll let you know. They were def. big box store undies. The top had the elastic encased in fabric.

That's what I need, encased in fabric. It sounds like they might be the BJs ones. I am going to look for them there. A lot of people say they are happy with them.
