Anyone ever been there? Is it really painless waxing?

My cousin goes and loves it. I dont think anything is 100% painless with waxing but she says it is very tolerable and super fast! (Brazillian). I have not built up the courage to go however

Re: Uni K Wax

I have never heard of or been to this place, but I don't think there is such a thing as "painless" waxing. I mean you are ripping hair from underneath your skin by the roots!
However, there are certain types of wax that cause less pulling on the skin- and are therefore much less painful.
Cream based waxes for example- not as sticky as the sugar based/honey wax- less pulling on the skin so it does hurt less.
I am guessing they use that kind of wax there.

They used a room temperature elastic wax. I want to try but I hate regular waxing - gave it up bc too painful!

I wouldn't go there again. It has the same prices as European Wax Center and feels much more like a cheap nail salon.

I got a "special 20%" off at the Bellmore Street Fair and went to the one in Wantagh.

It's not less painful than any other waxes and for a new store wasn't that nice inside. Say what you will about EWC and their pushy sales policies- they are nice, efficient and do a great job.

The place was DEAD and I had to wait a while. I could have gone to my nail place for the same wax for a fraction of the price.
