Re: unified windows
I have not used them for windows but we did use them for my roof and siding.
They are definitely the best priced option for sure. And i was happy with the finished product in both projects. My only issue I had was with my siding. They put my lighting and electrical boxes back on the house wrong and I had an electrical fire (which thankfully never got out of hand) when I contacted them about it, I was told that it states in the contract that I should have a licensed electrician make sure all electrical is correct at the end of the job - and yes, I found It in the Tiniest of print. And told them they should probably mention that audibly to their customers being that it is extremely dangerous. The response? If people know they have to pay an electrician on top of whatever they are paying for the job, there’s less of a chance of getting them to go forward. Yea. Then when speaking to the ceo of the company, I was told when I get it fixed, to send them the bill and they will work with me. It was $700. They sent me $100 check and stated as soon as it’s cashed, they weren’t liable for anything.
There’s a whole story that goes along with it, but I threw the check out and told them to GFTOH (in so many words)
After all of that ... I personally wouldn’t use the company again because of the way they handled a very serious situation. But if I was going off of the actual work? Yes. They did a good job and I was happy with the finished product.
Just read every. Tiny. Little. Bit. Of that contract.

oh wow... well i'm not doing anything that could screw up my electric, but that is good to know if we ever do siding with them or anything. The price was fantastic though! As of now, they're on the top of our list. We have one more guy coming on Saturday and then we'll decide what to do.
