Unique Hair Question

Maybe this is not so unique but I can't find anything that works. I hair severely oily hair to the point where I wash my hair at night and sometimes in the morning it almost looks like it could be washed again. But on the flip side I have an extremely dry scalp where I almost have some dandruffChat Icon . Please someone give me some suggestions on what I can try. And how is this even possible?

Re: Unique Hair Question

Nioxin makes (or at least used to make) some really good products for dry scalp/oily hair. I used to use one that had peppermint in it, which was so soothing. Ulta has a good amount of Nioxin products - I would check them out.

Re: Unique Hair Question

use queene helene jojoba oil for your dry scalp. 1-2x a week. u can find it on the bottom shelf at rite aid by the dandruff and life section lol its about 3$

put it all over ur hair. run hot water so ur bathroom steams up. put a shower cap on or take a plastic shopping bag and wrap ur hair in it. stay in the steammy bathroom for 5 min.. and then go about ur night like u normally would. after an hour or so wash ur hair.

in the morning if its still oily, rub shampoo on ur dry hair and then wash it out.

if my hormones are fkd up, i shampoo my hair when its dry and then wash it off in the shower. it gets rid of excess oils
