Unisom?

I have had serious issues staying asleep llately. i read a lot of pregnant woman take unisom, have you? did it help? does it knock you out cold? I have 2 other young kids, I want to be able to get up if they need me. I am gonna ask my dr on tuesday, just looking for input. TIA

I have been swearing by unisom lately!

I take 2 melt in your mouth tablets about an hour before I want to go to bed. It helps me fall asleep like a regular person! I don't feel super drowsy with it...I'm not falling asleep watching TV or talking to DH after I take it....but once I lay down and try to sleep...it helps. I also have been sleeping like a champ through the night with it.

I'd give it a try if I were you. My doctor said I could use it every night if need be.

And no, I do not feel knocked out in the AM after taking it. DD wakes me up around 7am and I feel like I got a good nights rest.

ETA: And yes, if I wake up to go to the bathroom, I'm fine. If I wake up because DD is crying, I'm fine. But I don't stay up after, I am able to fall right back asleep.
