Unrealistic??

So I'm reading in the NCMOTC newsletter about the book club and think... hmmmm, I'd love to get out of the house and go but what are the chances these days of me finishing a book in a month?

So I jot down the name of the book, go to the library to take out more baby books and what do you know they have the book club's selection on the shelf!

Well, lets' do the math...

11 week old twins + 401 page book= ?????.

I could always read it aloud to the babies, they'd never know. Am I being completely unrealistic here?

I read my first post-partum book last week (cover-to-cover). So yes, you are being unrealistic. I'm kidding. It may take you longer than before, but you can do it. And no way would I have time EVERY month to be part of a club to finish a book a month!

I think it can be done. I made 100 birth announcements, 100 christmas cards and 25 invites as well as a slew of thanks yous in the boys first 4 moths of life, so I think it can be done if you take the time for yourself to do it. I did my crafts while pumping.

I read them anything aloud, w=even the newspaper. it doesn't matter what you are reading, as long as you are.

I remember reading "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby" outloud to them.

Yeah, at that age you can definitely read it aloud to them.

I love to read. Ii joined a book club and while they are good I haven't gotten past page 2.
So........sad as it is..my bet is on forget it for now or..do what u said--read it to them-they don't know!
