San Gennaro Feast started yesterday and runs through next sunday. Little Italy
Oyster Festival October 13, 14, & 15 in Oyster bay

There is a craft fair (I think that's what they are calling it) at Babylon Town Hall on Sunrise this Saturday - i think that's where it is 9-6..
Also, my favorite (being raised in riverhead) is the Riverhead County Fair, which I think is always the Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. We always go :)

For those who don't mind the drive the BIG E started last week and runs til OCt. 1st
If you havent been it is so much fun-TONS of food-rides-parades-crafts-everything you can think of...
