Update - We bought it!! WWYD? Cozy Coupe for a 2 year-old
We never got our DS a cozy coupe. He happened to get a Little Tikes toy from someone that is literally a cozy coupe replica just in a tiny size. I saw my DS yesterday trying to ride it It's only like 6 inches tall, lol! He's seen someone else's cozy coupe and he loves getting in and opening/closing the door.
He'll be 2 in October, is it still worth it to get him the Cozy Coupe? I found it at a GREAT price. WWYD?
ETA: Has anyone purchased the trailer attachement that goes with it? Did your DC like it?
**ETA: I couldn't resist and we bought it for him online last night. I just really wanted him to have it. It's such a classic, well worth it even if he enjoys it only a few months. Only paid $40 for it new.

sorry to hijack, would you feel comfortable pushing a cozy coupe on the sidewalk, and crossing a busy street or two to the park?

we just put DS' together (he is 15 months) and he LOVES it. I can absolutely see him still loving it and fitting into it at 2 years old!

I think the Cozy Coupe is too hard to push, but I just got this for DS and he loves it. You can strap him in, and it's sooo much easier to push.
The Cozy Coupe is nice, but DS at 2 is too big for it (he's large; 39 inches).

We have something just like this, the Step 2 buggy and my DS has loved it since the 1st day he saw it (got it for his bday last year). Problem is, that in the past week he's been getting out of it and now wants to push it himself!!! It's ok on our quiet street but I worry about a car. He's also started refusing to hold my hand this past week. This is why I'm looking for a new "vehicle"
ETA: hmmm, he's 35.5 inches now, not sure what to do.

The push one is good for his size--the only thing I worry about is that he's a size 10 shoe, and his feet EXACTLY fit in the spot for feet, so if his feet grow much, they won't be able to be flat. But he's got really big feet, so that may not be a problem for all.

Re: WWYD? Cozy Coupe for a 2 year-old
I would get something else at this point. I think we got a lemon, so I hate ours. It's so hard to push, the wheels are so loud on the pavement and DD doesn't play with it that often at all. She'd rather go on her trike.
What about a power wheels lil' quad?

I agree with this. My DS is a size 8 and his feet already look snug in the buggy. I keep thinking that even if he still fits into it his feet will be too big next spring/summer. They should have made the space for the feet bigger!

Re: WWYD? Cozy Coupe for a 2 year-old
we just got him a scooter. and a helmet. we are planning to give it to him for his bday. it's for ages 3 and up but he's been stealing scooters from the kids in the playground and doing really well on them. I guess we'll have to buy him a porsche when he starts stealing cars too...anything to stop him from being a felon.
he has the radio flyer retro rocket ride on and he's a BIG fan of it.
we may get him either a tricyle or a wagon too (though we'd have to pull him around on the wagon. he did that at my aunt's "estate" this past weekend (she's on 3.5 acres out on Lloyd Neck) the Ophelia "estate" is only one seventh that size but maybe he'll be willing to go for shorter trips.

This is on my list too. His birthday is coming up.
He got on this at TRU though and it seemed a bit small. Only goes to 40lbs and he's 31 lbs. Been checking around trying to find it at a good price.

the cozy coupe is a classic for a reason...totally get it! he will get plenty of use out of it. i think the trailer would make it cumbersome.

Re: WWYD? Cozy Coupe for a 2 year-old
I considered the Cozy Coupe push one (he has the classic) for DS's second bday in Oct. I opted not to... he's pretty tall and won't get much outdoor use out of it because of his bday.
Instead I'm getting him this for $59. He can use it indoors, we have a big finished basement. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Disney-Cars-Mini-Quad-Ride-On/11971615

I would definitely get the cozy coupe... DS has the Step 2 push buggy and at 33 inches, he is getting to big for it.. He puts his feet down and tries to push himself, but he can only go backwards.. It is made to be pushed by an adult... The cozy coupe has a removable floor board and when he is older, he can do it himself.. My friends son was in his until he was 5!

Re: WWYD? Cozy Coupe for a 2 year-old
I have a 6 yr old, 4 yr old and 2 yr old and they all love the cozy coupe. I have learned by watching them that the one that is not completely closed on top is the favorite out of the 3 I have. I am looking into possibly buying the trailer to add to one this christmas.
