Update 10/5 - Starting IVF Round 2
Update #2 -
10/5 - Monitoring Day. Still have 5 follies - 15.5, 13, 12, 12, 12. Starting Ganirelix today. Continuing with 450iu Gonal/150iu Menopur today & tomorrow. Going back Friday. Looks like I'll trigger Saturday and retreival will be Monday... Feeling nervous but excited!
Just a quick update to where I am so far.
9/28, 9/29, 9/30 - Gonal F 450iu
10/1 - Monitoring - Showing about 5 follies starting - Yay! (this is a great # for me) - Gonal F 450iu today & tomorrow.
10/3 - Monitoring - Still at 5 follies. Not sure of sizes, but I know 2 are still <10. Gonal F 450iu today & tomorrow. Adding in 150iu Menopur. Go back on Wednesday 10/5. Will probably start Ganirelix that day.
Looking like retrieval will be either Sunday or Monday. So nervous!
Hi Girls - I saw my RE today to get started on my 2nd try at IVF.
My 1st attempt was a BFN - and I only produced 3 follies - all 3 were mature and 2 fertilized. Transferred both on Day 3 - a 4 cell Grade A and an 8 cell Grade B. I was on 7 days of b/c then 450 Gonal F/150 Menopur for 10 days with 4 days of Ganirelix added in.
This time around we're skipping the b/c pills and going right into stimming. Doing 450 of Gonal F starting tonight and I go back Saturday for monitoring. We're holding off on the Menopur til I start Ganirelix. Hoping less meds = better quality eggs.
This just may be my last try - so if you can spare any prayers, good thoughts or baby dust - I would really appreciate it!
