Update and Thank you!

First off, I wanted to say thank you to everyone here. It's been about 3 weeks and I'm happy to say that you were all right. I am feeling better. I never thought I would feel this good again but it took time. I don't know what I would have done without you all.

I went to the doctor on Friday for my followup. He said to come back in 7-10 days (after the procedure) but I knew I wouldn't be ready. Anyway, we spent A VERY long time talking and he was optimistic. I came in with a list of questions and he was patient enough to go through everything.
If anyone wants more details of the questions/answers, I'd be happy to share (just FM me). I was ok at the appointment but when I got to work (my appointment was before work), I sat in the parking lot and cried for a good 30 minutes (good thing I was early!). He didn't say anything that upset me. I think a part of me was just hoping that he would have told me that it was definitely a fluke and that everything would be ok next time. Obviously he can't say that b/c he doesn't know. I guess I was feeling better and didn't expect to feel SO sad again. I guess it's all part of the healing process. He was very encouraging and said to come back soon when you "are knocked up." He's so funny. I still get teary eyed at times when I see babies everywhere or pg women but I guess that's to be expected. We can heal but we won't ever forget. I'm trying to be optimistic and think towards a great future. Only time will tell.....

I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better. I too had trouble hearing there there was no fluke and that you have the same chance of a miscarriage the 2nd time as you do with the first...I didn't feel very good about that fact either.

But I choose to stay positive. Its the only way or you can go crazy wondering what may or may not happen.

It will continue to get better.

Im happy to hear you are feeling better!!

I know it s*cks being told its a fluke but its better then there actually being something wrong with either you or DH. Im sure that was the case for most of us but we have to stay positive and keep trying!!
