Boring, really? What flavor did you have?

I played it safe and got it in the Cherry flavor...

Actually, I find Cherry rather boring as well. Give ices another chance !
I think they are much lighter than ice cream

That was one of my favorite places as a kid. I loved and still love rainbow ices!

Are they really that special because I always see a lot of people hanging out at the one place located in Sayville on Main street...

Perhaps having it for the first time as an adult and not a child takes away from the "treat" of it. Also, you really need to experience on a scortching hot day. Try again in August.

But points for going to the good place!!

Italian ices are different everywhere you get them...but as a kid, I used to love this shack thing in Oyster Bay that had them...lemon made from actual lemons (it even had pits) and the chocolate was out of this world...those were their only two flavors...

That's Bonanza's!!!! My FAVORITE!!!! I still go there all the time after we go on my Dad's boat!!!

I was living out of state for a while and was shocked when I went back there....you should see all the flavors now!!!! But, lemon and chocolate are still my favorite!

This is my all time favorite place too! I used to live in one of those houses right next to it, until I was five.

I go back there a few times a year b/c I still have family around there. Although there lemon ices aren't the same.
