UPDATE! Help! My puggle ate a sock! What the heck do I do?
I have these small ped socks that I wear with flats and my dog swollowed it before I could get it out of his mouth. What the heck do I do?????
UPDATE: We called the 24 hour emergency vet and they said to keep and eye on him. He wound up throwing up the sock. All is well!

Call your vet. He may just have you monitor the dog to make sure he poops. If he does then all is well, if he doesn't the sock may be caught up in his system and he might need surgery. My doberman ate my stockings once and it was a very stressful 24 hours. Thankfully, most dogs will just pass it.

Re: Help! My puggle ate a sock! What the heck do I do?
my dog did something similiar. i had him ready to go to the vet and he started heaving and vomited a whole bunch of stuff he ate that he wasnt supposed to. (the ice cream man thought it was cute to throw a plastic icecream cup to my dog every day without me knowing... my dog ate the icecream AND the plastic) I would call the vet. They may tell u to just watch him. Is he still eating? My dog stopped eating (even chopped meat) and didnt want anything to drink either
