UPDATE: IVF Orientation Class- TONIGHT
Holy cow this is moving so quickly!!! I'm trying to help my grandma get ready for her beauty parlor appointment and have lunch beforehand...
I called LI-IVF and they said they have a class TONIGHT at 6pm!  So we're going!!!! I told DH it's better we just get it done, especially since he's freelance and if we signed up for the next one and he got called to work he'd be losing out on a day's pay- and we know he's off today.
Anyone else going? 
UPDATE:
I'm back from my class.  It was about 2 hours long (we actually stayed after so I didn't hold up the rest of the group to ask her a few questions about tailoring my cycle due to past OHSS and some other stuff).
It was VERY informative. They gave us a folder full of stuff which I can't even dream of reading tonight... my head feels a little too full, even as I type this  I told my MIL it's good that this is all happening so quickly- it'll give me less of a chance to back out.  (J/K- maybe!  )
Now I know which things I can start to get done while waiting for our billing process to clear (or our grant to clear- if we're approved).
DH and I went out to dinner afterwards to celebrate the start of our 'official' first step towards IVF I have to be honest, I was REALLY worried about DH hearing something he didn't agree w/ due to his beliefs, but he seems really strong on doing this w/ me- and I'm so excited!!! 
My emotions got the best of me on the way home and I just told him how much I love him and how amazing he is for going thru this w/ me--- I know it's not easy for him, and as hard as it is for me- I think on some levels it's actually harder to watch someone you love go thru all that we go thru as women, KWIM?

I'm not going (at least not yet!), but please let me know how it is and what was involved. I have a feeling I'll be headed in that direction soon.

When I went they went over the meds and the procedure. We watched a video. It was really amazing. You probably know it all already, just from reading this board and your previous experience. And you've already done injectibles. But, you can ask questions. good luck.

I never had to go to an orientation class...just had to go see a counselor before proceeeding with IVF-just to make sure DH and I were on the same page and prepared for any consequences.
I would assume they just go over the procedures, testing, and injections. I would imagine it's more about giving yourself injections than anything else.

WOW! That's fast!!! Great! Is it at Pt. Jeff or do you have to come all the way to Melville??
I didn't do the class at LI-IVF b/c I already did a cycle someplace else.

I'm glad all went well. And i'm glad DH came around. They all do eventually. Its just a matter of time now for you both. And time will go quickly.
I was watching SATC last night and it was the one where Trey comes home with the cardboard baby to give to Charlotte. Thinking its funny, but he's so not on board with her anymore (someone on that set must have been going through IF). I do hate how this show is so close to my life story. Anyway, you just want to reach out and hit Trey over the head.
