Update on me - amnio and stuff.
I had the amnio this morning, that was fine, it didn't hurt at all. I felt a little pressure when she was drawing out the fluid and thats it.
After waiting all day I finally got the results and they were borderline. I'm not really sure what that means. They have to do some other test and the results from that won't be back until tomorrow early afternoon. I have no idea what is going on at this point. I was scheduled for a c-sec for tomorrow at 11:15 but now since I have to wait for this other test, I don't know if it will be tomorrow or not, even if the results come back ok.
Ugh this is frustrating. I don't understand how their lungs couldn't be mature. I am almost 38 weeks, twins are supposed to mature faster, and I had the steroid shots at 30 weeks.

ugh-- I am so sorry that the results are not definitive.
Did they say anything else besides "borderline"? Borderline what???
I thought lungs were supposed to be fully developed after 35 weeks anyway??
I hope you get the answers you need-- I can't imagine how frustrated you must be thinking you were having the babies tomorrow.

So sorry! HOw frustrating! I am having my amnio on Monday and I am scheduled for my c-section on Tuesday. I'll be 36 1/2 weeks. I hope I don't run into the same problem.
They'll be here before you know it!
