Update on me - IVF consult
So we had our IVF consult… From start to finish it will be a 7 week process.
I will call when I get my period next week (lets of course keep our fingers crossed that doesn't happen).
I will than get my next instructions for my blood and sonogram to start Lupron (which will be day 21 of my next cycle, after I ovulate in January). Than I will wait for my 2nd period (Already on Lupron) and start Gonal-F (8-12 nights of this) on day 3 or 4 until the day of my HCG.. This will be the two weeks I will be in the office every morning for sono's and blood work. Than after the HCG I will be doing the egg retrieval.. We will see how the eggs are to determine 3 or 5 day transfer. We will be transferring back 2 embryos. I have to say it all sounds so much easier when we were sitting in her office (piece of cake).. I just hope it is as easy as it sounds. We were very excited when we left the office.. Or changes of a live birth are 50%. So to hear a number like that we couldn't help to feel hopeful for the first time in a long time.

Sounds similar to my protocol. It wasn't bad at all and believe it or not for us the time flew by. We were successful on our first attempt and I  the same for you. Good Luck!!!

Much luck to you...please keep us posted...if no BFP in the next two months we'll be doing IVF and it will be good to hear about the process step by step. Much   and let me throw in some of  too!

Thanks everyone.. yes I will keep you all updated.. Still waiting for AF.. so maybe we won't even make it to IVF
