Update on me!

Here is a recap for those who haven't been following my saga. In June, I got an awful review. The first negative review of my entire 7 year career. It wasn't even constructive. Just nasty. And confirmed what I knew for a long time, this is not the place for me. So I started looking.

In October, I was offered a job for the city and I accepted. I submitted my paperwork 3 weeks ago and have barely heard from them. Its a paycut and the benefits aren't as great as I expected, but the hours are less. I still have to interview with the commissioner of the department that I would be working in.

Two weeks ago I got 3 calls for interviews responding to my resume I sent as early as August. I went to all 3 interviews. One is with a Fed agency. It went well and I am a candidate- but these things take time.

One is for a lawfirm - I have been through two interviews already and have the third today. They are talking a about increasing my salary by $30K.

I also interviewed with another firm and was given an offer Friday night. The amount offered is a little low for the job they want me to do. I am supposed to hear about another offer today.

I can't believe it!! Literally, since last Monday I have had 6 interviews in 7 business days. Everyone wants a decision pronto. Its crazy.

So right now I have to see what the firm is going to offer and if I get an offer from the firm I have my third interview with today! If I get all these offers, what's next is for me to decide what *I* want... which I'm not sure about....

Good luck!! I am torn about my job, but can't apply anywhere just yet since I am preggers. Keep us posted!
