update on my twins!
Hi Ladies! I haven't been on LIF in so long. Since my twins were born on Aug. 14th at 27w5d, I have spent every day with them in the NICU. I just wanted to come on and check in to see how everyone was doing and to give you all an update.
Both DD and DS are getting big! They were both born at just about 2 lbs and now they are 6 lb 5 ounces and 5 lb 10 ounces respectively. My DD came home a little over a week ago after 10 long weeks in the NICU. She is doing great at home so far and is a very easy baby. DS is still in the NICU. He has been having a lot of respiratory issues so he will be there for awhile yet.  While we love having DD home, it makes it a lot harder for us to go see DS in the hospital. I can't wait to have him home as well!

OMGGGG I have been thinking about you every day! I actually logged on so that i can FM you!!! i am so happy ur princess is home. she is too freaking cute!
Ur adorable little son will be home soon too!!! Boys are just lazy and take more time to get their butts in gear.
I pray for you and the twins everyday!!

kelley, im so happy you have one of them home. I think about you and your family often. we traveled a lot of this road together. Im sure your little man will be close behind his sister. 's to all

They are adorable. Having one home and one still in NICU was torture for me, many many but I promise you, one day soon these NICU days will be a distant memory and you will be super busy changing,feeding, burping your two perfect blessings at HOME.
