Update on my twins! :)
Today I graduated from the RE. We have our first OB visit Wednesday!!! Both babies are measuring perfectly and have really good heart beats. Very very different heart beats, but the exact same rate- 136. Wonder if I'm in for 2 boys?!?
I was so sad to leave the staff today, there were some weeks I saw them more than my family and friends. We got them a card and Dunkin donuts and coffee. I'm anxious to leave them but hopefully we have a positive OB experience. Going to see dr. Erhart after all the wonderful recommendations on here!!
I have really really gotten over the shock and crazy emotions of the twins. Hearing those heart beats more and more and seeing them on the screen has really changed it for me! And of coarse all the cute twin things I have found on Etsy lol

sounds like boys to me- if the heartbeat theory is correct, anyway!!!

Hahaha I talked to my friend before, she is having a girl and the heart beat started out slower and got faster around 9 weeks. I think they need a little more time! I'll see them next week again at my OB visit so maybe there will be a difference :)

how many weeks are you? I'm having a girl and at the 7/8 week appt the HB was higher than yours, which everyone told me indicated that it was girl... I'm not sure if the theory changes with twins though!

Oh, the heartbeat gender theory has been disproven in studies. So I really would not assume based on that.

I'd trust your gut more than any of those old wives' tales! I knew I was having a little girl somehow.

Congrats!!
I have mono/di girls and at 7ish weeks their heartrates were around the 150's but then went to the 140's towards the end of my pregnancy.
You never know!! I just had a feeling it was two girls. Nothing to do with heartrate though.

Congrats!! Dr Erhart is amazing! You will love him! So caring and compassionate! I was an ivf patient and went to him after my first, he was so good with my crazy nervousness. All the dr's and nurses are so great there. The sono tech, Roe is a sweet lady too. Good Luck!
