UPDATE on our pregnant feline friend **KITTENS ARE HERE!!!!**
The kittens are here!!!!!  DH went in about 9:15 this morning to feed Mama cat, and he came right out and said that he heard high-pitched squeaking noises! We went in just in time to see the last kitten being born! 
It's hard to see exactly how many, since she buried herself into the darkest corner of the box, under a chair, but we think there are 6 of them  They are adorable, and so far Mama and kittens are doing fine!
She's still a little on-edge, so we haven't taken any pictures yet...probably tomorrow...but we are so relieved that they are finally here! Image Attachment(s):

i wish there were more people in this world like you--we wouldn't have a "cat problem" if people would be responsible. thank you for caring for a cat that's not even yours--you are obviously a very caring person.

In all seriousness, though, it just really tugs at my heartstrings. This cat is SO sweet--it's obvious that she used to belong to someone. It breaks my heart to think that someone may have abandoned her, and that she still has the capacity to trust--and to love someone she hardly knows. 
For me, it's the least we can do for her.

Awwww Stephanie, that would be awesome!!! From the looks of Mom, they should be very cute!
Depending on when they are born, they should be weaned and ready to go around the beginning of August!

Beth, I have to keep looking at her. I lover her big belly and she just reminds me of my first cat and my gram's cat. I love her! I can't wait to see baby kitty pics!
