Update: so excited.... growth sono in 25 min
I haven't seen Scone in 16 weeks! I can't wait to see how huge he is... although with my GD, I hope he's still a single serving size, if you know what I mean
I HAVE managed my sugars very well... (although I did just eat some cake at work just now )
Fingers crossed that Scone isn't huge......

Re: so excited.... growth sono in 25 min
update:
I'm 36.5 weeks and Scone's estimated weight is 7 lbs 3 oz... which puts him in the 86% for growth.... which I guess isn't too bad considering I have GD. At least he's not at the 95% percentile or higher.....
being the dork that I am, I am of course going to look up the stats on this right now.
but Scone IS a boy... and we have pics again

Re: Update: so excited.... growth sono in 25 min
ok, I'm done researching what the 'raw data' mean (such a dork!)
most measurements that are made to determine estimated fetal weight are bone measurements (femural length, head circumference, biparietal diameter)... for all of those, Scone is measuring at about 38.5 weeks...
For abdominal circumference, Scone is measuring at 37 weeks 1 day..... that's only 6 days ahead of the mean of my gestational age. considering how tall he is, that's pretty good!
Keep in mind I am 5'9" with a big head ( wish I was kidding, but I'm not!), and DH is 6'3".... so Scone is going to be tall no matter what. So, having a large head circumference and biparietal diameter (also skull) is my fault, and the long thigh bone is both of our faults!
The good news is that the 'fat' measurement is lagging behind the height and head measurments... so Scone is not FAT due to my GD!
yay Scone! he's still a single serving size

hey there... your scientist is showing
glad to hear scone is simply the product of two vertically enhanced parents and not just "chubby"

Awww yay Scone!!! My growth sono measurements were almost exactly the same as yours, so our little guys might be similar heights/weights!!!
