Update Thread.....
i know i have been quiet lately, last cycle was a real downer for me..but on to a new cycle, here's my update:
i took 50 mg of clomid days 3-7, i have a 18mm follicle on the left, took the hcg shot this morning and am scheduled for an iui tomorrow at 7:45.
this will be my second cycle doing iui - last cycle did not go so well because dh's count was only 7 million. this time he is going to come to the clinic with me and do it "on site". hopefully, that will help.....
so how about everyone else......

Good luck! And I think giving the sample on site is a good idea - that way those little guys will be fresh and raring to go

Good luck tomorrow!!!!
From my other post, you can all see nothing is going on! I'm getting very frustrated and extremely depressed by the whole process. I think I might try til the end of the year and then that's it - look into other opinions. I just don't have the strength for this.

Re: Update Thread.....
Good luck with your IUI tomorrow - baby dust:)
I'm on CD10 and will be taking my last clomid pill of 50mg tonight. I started Monday and Tuesday with 100mg but Wednesday morning I was starting to see the flashing vision I had last month on the 150. I dropped my dose down to 50mg for the last 3 days so hopefully that will still give me some nice follies. They want me to start using OPK's tomorrow which is very early for me as I have never seen a surge before CD16. They also told me to test 2x a day. Does anyone else do this?

yes, i always use the opk twice a day...once in the am and once when i get home from work....for me, i like to know exactly when the surge starts so using two helps!

I know! I have never seen the office that packed. Dr. Sung was the only one there and I saw 4 iuis within like 20 minutes of each other and then she was runnign across to do a part of an IVF and all these patients were starting to get restless.
The part that annoyed me was they put me in the sono room and FORGOT ABOUT ME....I heard them calling my name twice, and Im like " Im in here you idiots"....I was two seconds from putting my clothes on when they came in and asked if I had been in there a long time!!! ???!???!???!??!

It is getting insane, and I don't think it's very considerate. I was at RSofNY on Saturday and thankfully I had a very early appointment so there wasn't much wait. However, my friend was there later and since she just started going and isn't aware of a lot of the testing they are doing....they did nothing to explain it to her. In fact, she didn't meet with a doctor at all, and when she asked if she was going to, they said it was an hour and half wait. Someone there told her she ovulated, but that her lining was too thin, and to go home and take provera. I asked her for her results, she called RSofNY....and HER LINING WAS FINE (7mm), AND SHE DIDN'T OVULATE, BECAUSE, HER PROGESTERONE IS 0.2 !!! :( In fact, when she told me that she ovulated, I was shocked they didn't do a beta and prescribed provera to her. When you ovulate, you get AF unless, you have a cyst !!!!!
Ladies, do whatever you can to make sure you are getting your levels given to you. They are taking on patients they obviously can't handle, and it's interferring with getting the proper healthcare.
