[Update with more info] Know anyone looking for a Jack Russel?
I just got this from a friend:
"Anyone out there in the Staten Island/Long Island area that can give a loving home to a Jack Russell Terrier in need? The Russell refuge is full and can't take Jake. His mom has health issues and needs to place him with a forever home. If you can help please contact me!"
I'll put you in touch if you're interested so please FM me. I'm trying to get a picture and more information on shots, age, health, if he's neutered, etc. and will update that here.

I've found out through the someone involved with helping find Jake a home that he is good with older children, other dogs and cats. But the owner says not so good with young children. He does have rabies vaccine but unsure about other vaccines. He is 5 years young and is neutered already.
He is loving but does have special needs because he was abused and has separation anxiety so he would be best suited with a family that has time to be with him during the day.
As someone who has a dog that has special needs, I wouldn't let that stop me again if I knew I could provide for him. I feel particularly blessed to provide a stable, loving environment for a dog that was suffering from fear and nervousness.
I know Jack Russells can be a handful but I really hope that we can find him a good match - someone who can be what he needs and vice versa! 
Again, FM me for contact information and i will put you in touch with the owner so she can answer questions and setup meetings.
Should I find out he's been adopted, I will update here also. Thanks for reading!

WOW look at this handsome boy!!!
He's beautiful! I hope he finds a loving home. Look at how big his bone is compared to him, just adorable.

He's adorable! Sorry, I don't know anyone looking but I'll keep my ears open.
Can he be placed in another rescue league if she doesn't find a home?

oh god this is sooo tempting considering jacks are like my favorite breed!! but my DH would KILL me!! (we have 3 with a baby on the way) i'll spread the word though!

Just to add, Jack Russells generally are very high energy, so anyone considering this adorable little guy needs to keep in mind he will need a lot of attention (and yes, I can see them not doing so great with small children as they are generally feisty little dogs).
He is adorable, I hope someone would like to make him theirs.
