UPDATE with question! Typically, if a store online is out of a size
Does that mean the actual store will not have it either? I love this boot and want it in black, 7.5, but it's out online. It's also on sale. I'm going to the mall tomorrow and I'll see if they have it, but I'm wondering what my changes are.
If they don't have my size in black, which other color do you think I should get?
Grey:
Purple:
The plus about the purple is I have a purse that matches perfectly.

I would call and ask them to check for you
and if not the black.. while the purple is very funky and cute.. I would probably get the grey

if nordstrom carries it and they do not have it in that particular store, they will call other nordstroms to get it for you

Not necessarily. It usually means the warehouse is out of stock, but if the store already had one & didn't sell it yet, you're good.
I'd get the gray-I'd actually get that over the black, but I like gray shoes.

I usually find that if something is out of stock online, the stores will still have it. I really like the grey! But the purple is really fun and a nice pop of color to any outfit!

Even if you wear all black? Now I can't decide the color! Since they are not really a classic boot, I'm up for getting them in any color.

They have those in the steve madden store!
The sale is even better in the store than it is online. Buy one, get 50% off clearance.
If they don't have your size, they can call and get it from another store. That's what I did yesterday.

eta - they are out of my size online, but i was still able to get it ordered from the store.

you can see the detail of the flower a lot better on the grey. You can absolutely wear grey booties if you wear all black. They also look great with jeans.

I love the grey, but I actually have the purple & wear them more than I thought I would... I'll wear all neutral like black or grey and then just the shoes for the pop of color.

I would do the grey or the purple the detail shows up better on the color
ETS: just thought about it the grey might be best while I love the purple it might be trendy

I ended up buying the grey! I tried them on in the mall but they were $120!  So I ordered online at stevemadden.com and found a free shipping and 15% off coupon code. So I saved $50!
They are actually pretty comfy.
