UPDATED: Casino Party
So I called a few places to get some prices. Some of them will even run an "official" Texas Hold'Em Tournament involving real money. The dealers are not allowed to handle the money, but the host can. I am thinking about doing this for DH's party b/c he and his friends love to play. The companies I contacted sent me info. regarding how they run the tournaments and the pay outs. The "House" (or I guess dealer in this case) gets a % as does the top 3 winners. I am assuming I would include this "house" % as part of the tip for the dealers??? What do you think is appropriate to tip the dealers at these parties, whether playing with real or phony money???? Has anyone been to a casino theme party where they played Texas Hold'Em with real money?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I saw a few girls on here have had or have been to Casino theme parties where there are real casino tables and dealers. Can anyone recommend a company? Know how much $$$$ it costs? I know they play with phony money so what are some prize ideas for the end of the night?
Thanks.

Re: UPDATED: Casino Party
i threw a casino party for my mom's 50th bday.
i priced various vendors and ended up having three tables- a roulette, a blackjack and a texas holdem table.
winners were given tickets and then prizes were awarded for who had the most tickets at the end. we gave away about 7 or 10 prizes- anything from a set of poker chips, to chip and dip trays that were poker themed.
i'm going to look up the vendor for you- they came from nj all the way to long island and were fabulous.
fm me for more info.
